Although I am not as good a horsewoman as you, I agree not to kill Stoney's spirit-which I did try to do years ago using methods from that trainer you hinted at :)when Stoney "divorced" me. Others also want him to become a robotic zombie obedient, but I remind them he is my horse, and I will train him as I see fit. I feel he was meant to be my horse; someone who understands him and will work with him not at him. Thanks! I'm glad to know I'm not alone with these experiences. I had a different horse who came to me as a 'difficult' one but after a year or so we were best friends.
